Not Recession-proof

Anyone who says we are not in a recession is just not aware of the goings-on in the country. I personally have seen a severe drop in sales - people would rather put gas in their cars than buy art. While I totally get that, it still hurts my bottom line.
Anyway, I am still out there creating art, looking for new venues to show and sell art.
My goal for this 4th of July weekend is to finish my current wolf drawing (you will love it!) and get some prints made for sale on my etsy site (CarlaKurtArt.etsy.com).

Spring is coming? Really???

We are so tired of winter. Here is my boyfriend Pete, shoveling the drift in the driveway....

Now THIS ONE is my favorite!

I just completed this colored pencil drawing of a tiger, my son has named him "Songha" -

I have prints of him available at www.CarlaKurtArt.etsy.com and on Ebay. You can find my work for sale there by searching my name.

Ok, here it is...

My latest, and I think my favorite drawing!
After drawing in just pencil for so long, I wanted to try using colored pencils instead, and I am really pleased with how they worked out. His name is "Haunting Eyes".

My Latest work.....

I am working on a new drawing, this time in colored pencil. I am very satisfied with how it is turning out!
